Arrival in Arusha

Transfer: Airport to Accommodation

Arriving into Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred on a private vehicle into your accommodation in Arusha to rest.

Depending on your interest and flight arrival time, we can arrange an insightful 1-hour coffee estate tour (additional cost applies) to learn how coffee is grown, harvested, dried and produced.

Transfer: Accommodation to Airport

You will be transferred from your accommodation to the airport.

Flight: Arusha to Lake Manyara

You will be flown to the Lake Manyara airstrip on a shared light aircraft.

Ngorongoro

Crater Safari

Today, we descend into the crater for a full day game drive, greeted with large numbers of grazing herbivores and the predators which are attracted by this abundant supply of prey. It is not uncommon to spot the Big Five in one day, including the endangered black rhinos! A large flock of flamingos also call home to the nearby Lake Magadi.

Grumeti Game Reserve

Grumeti: Serengeti’s Best-Kept Secret

Set at a remote corner of Serengeti National Park, Grumeti was created by the government in 1994 to protect the annual wildebeest migration, thus offering excellent game viewing experience with a touch of exclusivity. Grumeti is a well-loved part of the Serengeti for its large lion prides, as well as the little-known Great Migration’s river crossing moment at the Grumeti River, which historically occurred around late June or early July.
