Arrival in Guiyang
Upon arrival in Guiyang, Guizhou's capital, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Optional Tours (time permitting):
Option A: Hike the hilly urban forest of Qianling Shan Park
Option B: Explore Qingyan Old Town, a Ming-era abandoned fortress atop a mountain, and one of Guizhou’s four ancient towns)
Guiyang / Anshun / Huangguoshu Waterfall
Drive approximately 93km (1.5 hours) to Anshun and visit Jichang’s Old Han Village, where Ming-era architecture and traditional women’s folk costumes remain vibrant. Enjoy a private performance of Ground Opera, a unique cultural tradition.
After lunch, travel 46km (1 hour) to Huangguoshu Waterfall, the largest in China. Cruise through the mystical Longgong Caves (Dragon Palace), featuring a floating stone forest and a hidden Miao village within the expansive cave system.
Huangguoshu Waterfall / Xingyi
After breakfast, visit the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area and take a cable car ride to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area to explore caves and stone forests by water.
Then, drive 192km (3 hours) to Xingyi, crossing Balinghe Bridge, China’s 10th highest at 370m above the river. Visit Huajiang Grand Canyon, known as China's “earth crack,” with its steep peaks, cliffs, rivers, waterfalls, and caves.
Arrive in Xingyi and check in to your hotel.
Xingyi
Explore the striking karst formations of the Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks, where towering grey-green peaks rise against vibrant yellow-green fields. Then, embark on a scenic hike through the Maling River Gorge, a deep rift surrounded by dramatic cliffs and natural beauty.
Xingyi / Pingtang
Embark on a 417km (5 hours) journey to Pingtang County, where you’ll witness the awe-inspiring 500-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope *(FAST), also known as Tianyan, the "Eye of Heaven." This colossal telescope offers a unique glimpse into the wonders of space. Additionally, explore the Astronomy Museum to deepen your understanding of the universe's mysteries.

Drive 147 km to Libo, crossing the impressive Pingtang Bridge, the world’s second-largest viaduct with a height of 328 meters.
